What is Nativey?

Nativey is an AI expression layer for browser writing. It works as a Chrome extension that rewrites selected text in place, lets you review the result, and replaces the original only after you approve.

Is Nativey just a translation extension?

No. Nativey includes translation, but its main job is expression control: making selected text clearer, shorter, more native, more formal, or more professional inside the page where you already write.

Does Nativey send selected text through its own backend?

No. Transform requests go from the extension to the model provider endpoint you configure. Nativey's account backend is used for sign-in, billing, entitlement status, and optional sync of portable writing setup.

What can Nativey Pro sync?

Nativey Pro can sync portable writing setup such as writing preferences, Site Rules, and Custom Actions. API keys, selected text, transform results, and transform history are not synced by default.
